Hot Shades for Summer

It’s been a very weird start to Summer up here in Canada, cooler than normal temperatures and lots of rain. But today the sun has finally decided to grace us with its presence and because of that I felt it would be the perfect time to talk about sunglasses. Always a summer must accessories, there’s a lot going on with them this season:

Shapes

Like everything else this season it’s a blast from the past when it comes to shape. The cat eye shape for sunglasses are back! Very 50’s, very retro!

Oversize shades are all the rage this season too. Once only worn by the senior crowd (my grandma actually had a pair!) they were all over the runways this season

Tough Details

Frames are getting a lot of attention paid to them this season with everything from studs, temple accents and metal detail being adding to them. Sunglasses this season are looking edgy!

And some are just looking a little weird…

Lace and Prints

Lace and prints are everywhere this summer, it’s only natural for sunglasses to get in on the action as well!

Protecting your eyes from cataracts has never looked so good! I think my favorite is the Karen Walker lace framed pair…to the mall to find me pair! Lol. With so many choice to choose from there’s a style for everyone. Which style will you be rocking this season?
